 About  Me

My Musical Journey
I started learning classical piano and theory at the age of seven. Whilst continuing to learn piano, I joined the senior bands at school playing the clarinet, trombone and tuba, as well as other instruments. I found that my background in piano made it a lot easier to pick up and learn different instruments. I also taught myself how to play drums which I continue to play today.
I sat my Piano and Theory AMEB gradings, studying up to Grade Seven Practical Piano and Grade Five Music Theory.
I have taught students part time over the years as well as my own children whilst working full time in various industries, and finally decided to follow my life long dream and teach music in a full time capacity.

My Teaching Philosophy
Everyone is musical. Music has the most amazing way of bringing people together. A song that is recognised by people of all ages and backgrounds can be played anywhere and bring everyone together. As long as you enjoy music, you will always learn.
I teach for enjoyment. I want people to learn for enjoyment.
ONCE YOU FORGET WHY YOU WANTED TO LEARN, YOU WILL STOP LEARNING.

The future of MML
I have been lucky to not only meet some fantastic musicians over the years, but also count them as my life long friends. They have the same passion for music as I do. Some play guitar, drums and sing to name but a few of their skills. Once I have established a good student base in piano and theory, MML will be branching out and teaching different instruments, and these friends and gifted musicians will become the future teachers at MML.

A Final Note from Aaron Turner

I Love Music. It is a huge part of my life and I hope that I can help anyone discover or rediscover the amazing way music can make every day that little bit more enjoyable.
